Month-end close in one sitting

Reconcile every account, read the statements on one shared period, post the period entries, lock the books — a month that closes clean stays closed.

A month that closes clean stays closed. This is the one-sitting version: reconcile, review, lock.

  1. Reconcile every account

Bank imports match your entries line by line; card statements settle through the card payoff flow without double-counting an expense.
  2. Read the month

Trial balance, P&L, Balance Sheet on the shared period; the green Balanced badge confirms debits equal credits. Skim Exceptions, where negative balances and drifting statuses surface themselves.
  3. Post the period entries

Recurring journals fire on their own; depreciation and deferral recognition post as balanced vouchers when you run them.
  4. Lock the books

Owners can lock through the month’s last date. Nothing on or before it can change, from any device. The audit trail keeps the history anyway.
