Activity and undo - everything added or imported in one place

See every import, migration, campaign and setup in this workspace, and the invoices, expenses and payments people add, newest first, with an Added today filter. Undo the bulk changes that can be undone with the same undo each importer already has; the reason is shown when one refuses.

Imports, migrations, campaigns and setups each used to have their own undo, in their own place. Settings → Activity and undo lists them all for the workspace you are in, newest first. Every importer also has a link to it.

Invoices, expenses and payments you add

The invoices, expenses and payments received that you add one at a time are listed too, with their number or supplier, the amount and the date. Open takes you to the record. They have no Undo here: change or delete one on its own screen. A payment made to a supplier is recorded against the supplier's bills, so it shows on those expenses.

Added today

Choose Added today to see only what was added or imported today, by your own clock. Choose All to see the whole history again.

What each row tells you

The file or label it came from, when it ran, who ran it, the counts, and its status: in progress, needs review, done, undone, failed or rejected. An import that ran in stages lists its stages with how many records each applied and how many failed.

Undo

Undo runs the same undo the importer itself offers. This page does not do anything new to your books. If something you imported has since been used, for example a customer that now has an invoice, it is kept and you are told how many were kept. Messages a campaign has already sent cannot be taken back; undo stops the rest.

You only see Undo when your role may use it. Some undos are for the business owner alone. If Finocket still refuses, for example because a GST period is already filed, the reason is shown as it is. Nothing is changed when an undo is refused.

Undo one stage

An import from Tally, Zoho or a spreadsheet runs in stages, one for each kind of record: customers, invoices, payments and so on. Open the stages and use Undo this stage to take back one of them and keep the rest. The same rules apply as for the whole import: anything since used elsewhere is kept and counted, and nothing dated inside a locked period is changed. When the last stage is undone, the whole import shows as Undone.

Undone stays on the list

An undone operation stays listed, marked Undone, with the date. It cannot be undone twice.

If the list looks incomplete

If part of the history could not be loaded, the page says which part. An empty list means nothing has been added or imported yet. It never means we could not look.
